Topic: The Queen And Her God
A queen is a female ruler of an independent state who either inherits the position by birth or marriage. She is a woman in charge.
There are four types of queens:
1. Queen Regnant: A queen who rules in her own right, without a husband’s authority. She is the sovereign ruler, not just the wife of a king. Examples include Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Elizabeth II.
2. Consort Queen: The wife of a reigning king. While she holds the title of queen, she does not have sovereign power or authority. Her role is mostly ceremonial, though she may influence the court and national affairs.
3. Dowager Queen: A widow of a king. She retains the title of queen after the death of her husband, but she no longer holds any ruling power. The term “dowager” signifies her status as the former queen.
4. Queen Mother: The mother of a reigning king or queen. If she was previously a queen consort, she becomes the queen mother when her child ascends to the throne. Her role is often ceremonial, providing advice or support to the reigning monarch.
When a king reigns, the queen supports her husband. As soon as a king marries a woman, she automatically becomes a queen. A regnant queen does not need a king to reign. If you do not know your identity as a queen, you will not live up to the potential of what being a queen means.
Important things to understand about queenship:
1. Who are queens? We are queens by virtue of who our Father (God) is. Our Father is a type of King that has never been seen—He is the King of Kings. Our King is God, and thus, we are queens. Our position in the Kingdom is an elevated queenship. Let your lifestyle reflect the Queen whose King is God. If you do not know who you are, society will tell you who you are not. Our Father has made us queens and priests (Revelation 1:5-6 NKJV). You were created with royalty in mind. You are chosen by God. Regardless of your past, mistakes, or experiences, your queenship is constant; nothing changes your position (Ephesians 2:8-10 & 1 Peter 2:9-10 NKJV).
2. When did we become queens? You became a queen the day you became born again. As soon as you received Christ, you became a new creation, a being with no past, blemish, or sin (2 Corinthians 5:16-17 NKJV). Old things have passed away. This is your truth! The renewal of your mind is based on the Word of God. You are not your past, your mistakes, or your experiences—you are a new creation. You must understand this truth to live in that reality.
3. What are queens? You are co-heirs with Christ. We are queens because of what we believe (Romans 8:14-18, NKJV).
4. Why are we queens? We are queens so we can model the life of Christ on earth. In the Kingdom, we reign as queens.
5. How can we operate as queens? As queens, we possess gentle and humble spirits, we have roles and play them accordingly, and we are submissive to our husbands. We are obedient queens, with forgiving hearts. Love is the foundation of this Kingdom. Our identity as queens is clear because we know who we are.
All things are yours! Everything that pertains to life is yours. Live in this reality.
